By Mike Prysner -- Veteran: U.S. Army
Mike Prysner served in Iraq. Now that he has returned, he has something to say.
The video lasts 4 ½ minutes and concludes as follows:
Our real enemies are not those living in some distant land. They're not people whose names we don't know or whose cultures we don't understand. The enemy is people we know very well and can identify. The real enemy is a system that wages war when it's profitable, the enemy is the CEOs who lay us off our jobs when it's profitable, the insurance companies who deny us health care when it's profitable, the banks who take away our homes when it's profitable. Our enemy is not five thousand miles away. They are right here at home. And if we organize and fight with our sisters and brothers we can stop this war we can stop this government and we can create a better world.

The address from which this video was excerpted is available HERE, and I recommend that you view the panel presentation to hear the message in context. Prysner's testimony was recorded during an event sponsored by Iraq Veterans against the War (IVAW) called "Winter Soldier." It lasts just under 11 minutes, is unedited and in situ here:
Panel: Racism and War: the Dehumanization of the Enemy: Part 2
